Educational Approach

Kingdom Mindset

The Kingdom of God Mindset goes beyond mere intellectual understanding. It focuses on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8) It is a mindset rooted in faith, love, and surrender to God’s will. Aligning thoughts, attitudes, and actions with the principles of the Kingdom of God.

Calling forth destiny

Challenges and obstacles are a natural part of the journey in fulfilling God’s destiny in our lives. It is crucial to establish a character that views hurdles as opportunities for growth and learning. By overcoming challenges, a child is strengthened, resilience and skill development will help them to navigate the path towards our desired destiny.

Skills needed for life

Education plays a fundamental role in shaping individuals, societies, and the world at large. In today’s fast-paced and information-driven era, the importance of a simple yet effective education system cannot be overstated. Emphasis on clarity, accessibility, and engagement enables learners to grasp and retain knowledge more effectively.

Grade Levels

Pre-K is a time of joy and excitement for children. They love learning, and it becomes part of their identity. The Dunamis home-school is a Christ-centered pre-k that provides a loving and nurturing environment. We offer a pre-K program to children 3 years old on or before September 30th and fully potty-trained. If your child is 5 years old, they are eligible for our program as long as they have missed the October cutoff for Kindergarten. If you have any questions or concerns during the enrollment process, please call the office and one of our staff will be happy to assist you.

As students learn and grow, they will develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. They will also develop a stronger sense of self-awareness and be more likely to make positive contributions to society.

The Dunamis home-school co-op offers a solid Christian curriculum, helping students develop into independent learners:

  • Problem-solving: Students are encouraged to think critically and creatively to solve problems.
  • Critical thinking: Students are taught to question assumptions and to evaluate evidence.
  • Communication: Students are given opportunities to communicate their ideas in a clear and concise way.
  • Collaboration and Community: Students learn to work together to achieve common goals.

Students are developing their own identities, learning how to navigate social relationships, and starting to think about their future. Making new friends, exploring their interests while learning new skills, these are exciting times of discovery.

Our staff help in guiding students in this time with a solid Christian education. Establishes them in finding their voice, realizing their own opinions and beliefs (Philippians 2:12), and guiding them into expressing themselves as young men and women in the Kingdom of God.
